Structural work ready for new underpass Contactweg – with bicycle bridge

As more trains will be using the train track along Nieuwe Hemweg, a new grade separated crossing is being built at Contactweg. A replacement for the present level crossing of Kabelweg, which currently causes congestion and is risky. The design includes cycle paths for cyclists to bridge the barrier. The grade separated crossing will open January ’22.
