Quick and easy check-in and check-out with the bicycle tag
A new bicycle tag makes it easier for users of the Amsterdam bicycle parking facilities to check in and out. The bicycle tag is a sticker with a tag, which is linked to your public transport card (OV-card).
From 23 August 2021, the bicycle tag can be used in four bicycle parking facilities within the Amsterdam region: Leidseplein, Beursplein, Reguliersdwarsstraat and Amstelstation. With the bicycle tag on your bicycle you get access to the four parking facilities without having to take out a card or your public transport card (OV-card). From October 2021, you can also use the tag in the Strawinskylaan parking facility at Amsterdam Zuid station.
