Led strips as a solution?
Cyclists often run the red light at the busy Stadhouderskade – Ferdinant Bolstraat intersection in Amsterdam and this results in potentially unsafe situations. To draw cyclists’ attention to the red light, lighting strips have been installed in front of the stop line. These strips light-up in red when the traffic lights signify ‘STOP’ or show red for cyclists.

Do you expect this to work? Can you think of other ways to prevent cycling through red lights?
