New bicycle parking facility at Amsterdam Central

There is more and more space to park bicycles at Amsterdam train stations. ProRail and the municipality of Amsterdam are going to build a new bicycle parking facility under the eastern tracks of Amsterdam Central Station. The Transport Authority Amsterdam is contributing 12.3 million euros to the project. The new bicycle parking facility will be opened in 2023. It can store approximately 8,800 bicycles. Also, there is room for 450 shared bicycles.
